If you find yourself using your holiday “vacation” time doing work around the house, Walmart’s early Black Friday sale is here just in time. The sale, which runs through Nov. 17, includes steep discounts on sheds, fire pits, and plenty of other home improvement necessities. One deal that caught our eye was this powerful Milwaukee impact wrench that’s available for just a little more than half its normal asking price.
The Milwaukee M18 18V Cordless Brushless Impact Wrench is on sale for just $130, $119 less than the $249 it would normally run you at Walmart. It doesn’t have too many customer ratings on Walmart’s website, but those that do exist are overwhelmingly positive. It doesn't come with a battery, but if you're not already up and running within Milwaukee's 18V ecosystem, we recommend picking up the brand's powerful 5Ah model while it's 55% off.

Impact wrenches typically look like shorter, stubbier power drills, but they’re built to do tasks that require more torque—think loosening stuck nuts on a car engine or drilling long screws into decking joists—than the average drill can put out. This particular model from iconic toolmaker Milwaukee has 650 ft. lbs. of torque, more than enough for household use, along with four different modes to match the task at hand, three LEDs to light up the work area, and a friction ring that makes socket changes quick and easy.
“This thing saved me from going to the mechanic,” began one enthusiastic reviewer. “It was able to loosen the rusty bolts and nuts of my outer steering rod, front lower ball joint (impossible levels of rust), and the massive nut connecting the wheel to the CV axle shaft assembly (the thing that connects the wheel to the transmission and powers the wheel).” Even if you don’t know anything about cars, that sounds pretty impressive, as does their note about its “fantastic performance in tight spaces.”
Other reviewers offered short and sweet assessments: ”Great price and great impact gun,” “works great,” and “muy bueno” among them. Presumably, they didn’t have time to leave lengthy reviews because their new impact driver was helping them get so many tasks done.
A tool this useful at a price this low is a recipe for lots of sales—and dwindling stock. We’d recommend picking up your Milwaukee Cordless Impact Wrench as soon as you can to head into the new year ready to tackle any torque-heavy tasks that make their way onto your to-do list.
