Who Is Billie Eilish Dating? If the Grammy-Nominated Artist Had It Her Way You'd Never Know
Billie Eilish will be top of mind at the 2025 Grammy Awards, taking place Feb. 2. In addition to being nominated for the top prizes—Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year—for her album Hit Me Hard and Soft, as well as its hit song “Birds of a Feather”—she'll be performing alongside other pop acts like Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, and Chappell Roan. That said, many Eilish followers will have one major question on their tongue: Who is Billie Eilish dating now, and will they attend her on the red carpet?
Maybe we should back up. Despite being only 23 years old, the brooding pop star’s personal life has been a major point of speculation ever since she came of age. (It’s no coincidence that she launched as an international pop phenom at the age of 18, when she released her debut studio LP When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?) Eilish herself hasn’t been shy in the past about teasing bits of her love life in her work. The grunge-inspired “Happier Than Ever” off the album of the same name addressed a former romantic partner and their unhealthy relationship.
Meanwhile, Hit Me Hard and Soft wasn’t coy about divulging the star’s sexuality head-on. The lead single, “Lunch” sees her describing her interest in women (though we know she has been linked with male suitors as well).
“I could eat that girl for lunch / Yeah, she dances on my tongue / Tastes like she might be the one,” Eilish sings over the chorus of the track.

So, Who Is Billie Eilish Dating?
We can’t confirm whether Eilish is currently dating anyone, in short because Eilish herself has neither confirmed nor denied any current relationship publicly. That said, she has been spotted with internet celebrity Quenlin Blackwell in a way that can be perceived as romantic: Eilish kissed Blackwell at Coachella in early 2024, around the same time the musician released “Lunch."
Moreover, Eilish has reportedly popped up in some of Blackwell’s TikTok posts, according to Elle. That doesn’t mean they're dating, but it is further confirmation the two women are hanging out.

What Is Her Dating History?
While Eilish’s rumored relationship with Blackwell may or may not be hot and heavy, we do know that Eilish has had several public past relationships, per Elle.
Brandon "Q" Adams
The timeline of Eilish’s relationship with the rapper Adams, aka “Q,” is not quite pinned down, but we know he was one of her earlier partners. (Elle reports they dated sometime during 2018 to 2019.)
“I just wasn’t happy. I didn’t want the same things he wanted, and I don’t think that’s fair for him,” Eilish noted of her relationship with Adams in her 2021 documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry. “I don’t think you should be in a relationship super excited about things that the other person couldn’t care less about. … There was just a lack of effort.”
Matthew Tyler Vorce
Presumably after Adams left the picture, Eilish was linked to actor Matthew Tyler Vorce in April 2021, according to Parade, when he was 29 to her 19. Neither person has talked about the romance publicly, though Vorce did say via Instagram after their reported 2022 breakup, "Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. Simple as that. Creating rumors and LYING on the internet is dangerous."
Jesse Rutherford
There’s one more man in the trio of guys romantically linked to Eilish: Jesse Rutherford, the lead singer of the band The Neighbourhood and 11 years older than the “Bad Guy” singer. The two reportedly first started dating around October 2022.
Eilish told Vanity Fair that November, "Yeah, I do [have a boyfriend now], and it's really cool, and I'm really excited, and I'm really happy about it. I managed to get my way to a point in my life…where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f--king f--ker alive, but pulled his ass."
Then it was confirmed in May 2023 that they had gone their separate ways. Eilish nevertheless told fans that Rutherford remains her “homie forever.”
What’s Next in Her Love Life?
Despite Eilish’s confessions on Hit Me Hard and Soft and elsewhere, the star hopes to keep her love life at least a little more off-limits in the future. “I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever,” she told Vogue in an interview published on October 8, 2024. “And I hope that they never will again.”
She doubled down: “And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again,” she said, adding that she had not realized her sharing would be blown up “into the biggest news of the year.”
